A Word from the President

The wonder of the Holidays! There are many ways of celebrating, but celebrating we are. For most of us it is Christmas. For others it may be a different holiday. But the goodwill and bless-ings abound. If we could wrap up our wondrous wishes for each other our cups would truly be overflowing.

As our members at Sky-Hy come together for our last meeting of 2008, we will be celebrating a festive and fun-filled holiday gift giving game (contact Maggie for information.) We also bring gifts for our scholarship recipients, Jennifer Rouse & Jessica Brown, who will receive their basket of gifts in January 2009. (Bring duplicate gifts so they each get the same thing.) We come together each month bringing our own gifts and talents and share them with each other to raise scholarship money for local women (sometimes men!) We help them in some small way to pursue their goals of furthering their education. We share our gifts and talents with each other--- in support, in networking, in furthering our own education, and in friendship, and sisterhood.
